Our History

Waltham Forest Arts in Education Network was formed in October 1995 with the guidance of Waltham Forest Arts Council and the support of the London Borough of Waltham Forest's Chief Education Officer. The organisation has gone from strength to strength delivering workshops in dance, poetry, film-making, puppetry, drama, visual arts and music making to thousands of children and young people across the borough. In July 2010 the organisation was successful in registering as a charity number 1136662.

The Network is currently commissioned under a 3 year contract from 2010-2013 by the Arts and Events Team of the London Borough of Waltham Forest to deliver projects in partnership with local schools.
