Arts Council England Grant Award

We have been awarded £9,990.00 by Arts Council England for our Cultural Olympiad Programme. In 2012 this includes:

- Creation of an Olympic mural at Willowfield School
- Creation of an Olympic anthem incorporating gospel choir, dhol drumming and MCs from local schools

Transformers Grant

We have been awarded a Transformers grant, funded by The National Lottery, through the Olympic Lottery Distributor, and managed by East London Business Alliance. The grant of just under £11,000 is for an Olympic poetry and storytelling project in primary and secondary schools across the borough. The poems and stories will be published in a booklet in the summer of 2012.

Olympic Hat-Making Project

With funding from Ernest Cook Trust, the Network is delivering a hat-making project in 5 primary schools to create hats and headgear from recycled materials in collaboration with artist Dave Barnett from See'N'Make.
