FFellowship Arts Challenge 2010

The Network was commissioned by Waltham Forest Council's Arts and Events Team to co-ordinate the exhibition of work by Waltham Forest secondary schools and colleges and international schools for the Fellowship Arts Challenge from 22-25 July in Walthamstow Town Square.

The theme for 2010 was Dreams of Utopia which derives from William Morris' inspirational utopian novel "News From Nowhere" where he imagined a new society set in a garden city and a creative community founded on equality and an absence of want.

The participating schools explored William Morris' utopia or the wealth of utopias across the world.
